Congratulations to Giselle Marquez '17, the first recipient of the TJHS Alumni In Omni Uno Scholarship. Giselle will be attending Texas A&M University in College Station. She will major in forensic and investigative science. At Jefferson, Giselle is the Senior Class President, NHS Treasurer, a MJR Member, and an athletic trainer. Michelle Mata '97 presented the scholarship to Giselle at Jeff on Parade on May 18, 2017. The TJHS Alumni In Omni Uno Scholarship, awarded to a TJHS Senior in the spring and a TJHS Alum in the fall, recognizes students and alumni who demonstrate excellence in academic studies, community involvement, and leadership development.
